    The Moving Classroom
The girls who attended the program were very excited about learning yoga and were sad when they had to miss because they were on a field trip. Most of them are our most difficult students. They loved coming to the class and left more relaxed and less angry...I wish the instructor could have come two times a week for the whole program... She was very patient and used a soft, calming voice that the students responded to. Our students hear a lot about yoga but do not have the money to go to a yoga studio...It is beneficial for them to learn to take care of their bodies and make them stronger, and to learn calming techniques that they can use when stressed and upset.
